Michael Tenuta

Michael brings more than forty six years of experience in business development, client management, and project management services.
Before founding Strategic Project Advisors LLC, he led the Project Management team in Avison Young’s Chicago office, where he established and grew the group over five years while overseeing complex industrial, retail, and tenant interior projects.
His prior roles include Director at Cushman & Wakefield, managing corporate relocations and industrial projects for diverse clients. He also held senior construction management positions, notably serving as Senior Vice President and Partner at Clune Construction Company, where he contributed to scaling the firm to $300M in annual volume.
Earlier in his career, Michael practiced as a licensed architect, delivering base buildings, renovations, and interior fit outs across corporate, healthcare, retail, and industrial sectors.
Mike is currently the Foundation Chair and a past President of the Rotary Naperville Sunrise Club in Naperville, Illinois.

Paul Laskowske

Principal / Project Executive

Paul Laskowske, as Principal and Project Executive, oversees the design and construction of projects and developments. He monitors all design and construction contracting practices, systems, and processes. Over the years, Paul has established and maintained relations with architects, contractors, major trades, and professional organizations. Paul provides leadership and oversight of design and construction activities of Strategic Project Advisors project management and advisory services.

Prior to joining Strategic Project Advisors,  Paul headed the Project Management team at Avison Young and was the point of contact for the Development Team’s Construction Management.  He also held senior-level executive positions with major Chicago-based firms, including Avison Young, Clune Construction Company, and Gurtz Electric Co.

During his 39 years in the construction industry, Paul has been directly responsible for the management of preconstruction and construction phases on a wide range of project types including residential, hotel & hospitality, office buildings, health care, and convention center facilities. Paul has also managed numerous developments, base building and renovation projects which include medical centers, hotels , senior living facilities, and high rises in the Chicago area.

Prior to Cumming Group, Joseph served as Director of Pre-Construction at Evergreen Construction, where he led efforts on affordable and senior housing developments and implemented strategic tools for cost forecasting and logistics planning. At Focus Development, he launched and led the commercial interiors division, while also managing marketing, staffing, and financial performance. Earlier in his career at Lendlease, Joseph played a key role in delivering high-profile projects including Hilton Homewood Suites, Loews Hotels, and repositioning of major downtown Chicago properties including 10 and 30 South Wacker Drive Lobby Renovation and 111 East Wacker and 233 N Michigan Avenue Lobby Renovation.
